Terms of use.
The rules for using this website, its content and its online forms.
Effective 14 September 2026 · Last updated 14 September 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of jupiterpublicschool.in (the “Website”), operated by Jupiter Public School (“the School”, “we”, “us”). The Website is an informational platform for parents, students, alumni, applicants and the general public.
By accessing, browsing or using the Website — including by submitting an admission enquiry or a job application — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data, and with the official circulars, prospectus and mandatory disclosure published by the School.
1. Definitions and interpretation
In these Terms: “School” means Jupiter Public School, Gangapada, Khurda, Odisha, including its management and administration; “Website” means jupiterpublicschool.in and every page, form, document and service made available on it; “Content” means all text, photographs, images, graphics, logos, documents, data, software and other material on the Website; “User”, “you” and “your” mean any person who accesses or uses the Website.
Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. The singular includes the plural and vice versa. A reference to a statute includes that statute as amended or re-enacted from time to time, and the rules made under it.
“Including” and “such as” are not words of limitation. A reference to a clause is a reference to a clause of these Terms.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Website.
These Terms are an electronic record within the meaning of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, including Section 10A. They are generated by a computer system and do not require any physical or digital signature; your access to or use of the Website constitutes acceptance.
If you use the Website on behalf of, or in relation to, a child or another person, you confirm that you are the child's parent or lawful guardian, or are otherwise duly authorised to act for that person.
Certain features — such as the admission enquiry form, the careers application form, document downloads and the staff administrative area — may carry additional conditions. Those conditions apply in addition to, and do not replace, these Terms.
3. About the Website
The Website provides general information about the School, including its academics, faculty, campus and residential facilities, co-curricular activities, notices and circulars, board results, achievements, gallery, admission process and career opportunities.
Content on the Website is published for general information only. It is not an offer of admission, employment or any other contract. Admission and employment are subject to the School's policies, eligibility requirements, CBSE and statutory norms, seat availability and the School's decisions.
Fees, dates, results, syllabi, facilities, staff and other particulars shown on the Website are indicative and subject to change. In case of any conflict between the Website and the School's official circulars, prospectus, fee notifications, CBSE records or statutory disclosures, the official version shall prevail.
The Website is operated from India and is intended primarily for the School's community in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
4. Permitted use of the Website
You may use the Website only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes connected with the School. You may view, save and print publicly available pages and documents for personal, family or school-related use, provided all copyright and proprietary notices are retained.
You must not, and must not permit any other person to:
- copy, scrape, harvest, crawl or systematically extract Content, or use automated tools (bots, spiders, scrapers) to access the Website without the School's prior written consent;
- probe, scan, test or breach the Website's security, authentication or access controls, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, its servers or its data;

- interfere with the availability, integrity or performance of the Website, or impose an unreasonable load on its infrastructure;
- impersonate the School or any person, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation or authority;
- use the forms or contact channels to send spam, unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or misleading content, or content that infringes another person's rights;
- frame, mirror, replicate or pass off the Website or any part of it as your own, or use the School's name, logo or marks in a misleading or unauthorised manner;
- collect or store personal data of students, parents or staff displayed on the Website.
The School may restrict or terminate access to the Website, without notice, where it reasonably believes there has been misuse or a security risk.
5. Information you submit through the Website
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of the information you submit through the Website's forms or contact channels. Your submission must not violate any law or infringe the rights of any third party.
By submitting information, you consent to the School processing it for the purpose for which it was submitted and to being contacted about your submission by telephone, email, SMS or WhatsApp. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights.
For job applications: you confirm that the details and documents you provide are true; the School may verify qualifications, experience and references, and may share your application internally with the recruitment panel and interviewers on a need-to-know basis.
The School may decline, remove or disregard any submission that breaches these Terms, is incomplete, or appears fraudulent, spam or automated.
6. Intellectual property
The School's name, logo, emblem, tagline and other marks, and all Content on the Website, are owned by or licensed to the School and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and other applicable laws, as well as international conventions.
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to view, save and print Content for personal, non-commercial and school-related purposes. This licence does not transfer any ownership or other rights in the Content.
You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit, modify, translate, create derivative works from, publicly display or perform, sell, rent or otherwise exploit any Content without the School's prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.
Photographs and videos of students are published for the School's educational and informational purposes only, in accordance with the consents obtained by the School. They must not be downloaded, re-published, edited or used in any other manner.
Third-party names and marks that appear on the Website — for example, CBSE, universities, examination bodies, survey partners and media publications — belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and factual reporting. Their appearance does not imply endorsement or affiliation beyond what is stated.
7. Third-party links and services
The Website may contain links to websites, platforms and services operated by third parties, including social media pages, WhatsApp, YouTube, Google Maps and external registration portals. Such links are provided for convenience only.
The School does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security or privacy practices, and a link does not imply endorsement. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms and policies.
Embedded or linked third-party content — such as video testimonials and interactive maps — is served by the relevant provider and may be subject to its terms of use, including its own intellectual property and data practices.
8. Disclaimers
The Website and its Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While the School takes reasonable care to keep the information accurate and current, it makes no warranty or representation that the Content is complete, accurate, reliable, current, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
The School does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Website at your own risk.
Information on the Website is not professional, legal, medical, financial or academic advice, and must not be relied upon as such. For any decision concerning admission, fees, examinations or school policy, please confirm the current position with the School office.
In the event of any inconsistency between the Website and an official School circular, notification or statutory disclosure, the official document shall prevail.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the School, its management, trustees, employees, faculty, staff and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss or damage, including loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with:
- your access to, use of, or inability to use the Website;
- reliance on any Content, including dates, results, fees or facility descriptions;
- any interruption, suspension or discontinuation of the Website;
- any content, product or service of a third party accessed through the Website;
- any unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, despite the School's reasonable security safeguards.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the School, its management, trustees, employees, faculty, staff and agents from and against any claims, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Availability and changes
The School may add, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website at any time, without notice and without liability. Access may also be interrupted by maintenance, network or security incidents, or events beyond the School's reasonable control.
The School may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms take effect when published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Website after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and explains the personal data we collect, how and why we process it, how long we retain it, and how you may access, correct or erase it or withdraw consent.

Subject to any jurisdiction conferred on the Data Protection Board of India or any other statutory authority, the courts at Khurda/Bhubaneswar, Odisha shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. A failure by the School to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
