The Jupiter difference

Why families choose Jupiter.

A choice that makes the difference. Everywhere else, school ends and a coaching centre begins — two syllabi, two teacher sets, two commutes, half the sleep. Here is what one roof changes, point by point.

  1. Elsewhere

Two syllabi running at different speeds — concepts repeat, clash, or arrive in the wrong order.

    01
    At Jupiter

    Aligned Curriculum & Consistent Pace

School academics and entrance preparation follow one aligned curriculum. Students never meet the same concept twice or too early, so there is less confusion and one steady pace.

    No repeated content
  2. Elsewhere

Coaching centres chase entrance ranks. The board syllabus gets whatever time is left over.

    02
    At Jupiter

Balanced Focus on Boards & Entrances

We hold a dual focus. Boards and entrance tests are planned together, so students excel in the CBSE examinations while preparing seriously for JEE and NEET.

    Boards and entrance, equally
  3. Elsewhere

A bus across town after school, home by nine, and the homework still waiting.

    03
    At Jupiter

    Time Efficiency

Academic classes and coaching happen in the same place, so the second commute disappears. What comes back is time for self-study, rest, sport and family.

    Hours returned to the day
  4. Elsewhere

The school teacher and the coaching tutor each see one half of the same student.

    04
    At Jupiter

    Personalised Attention

Teachers here know each student's strengths and gaps across the whole day, so support is genuinely personal — and it comes from faces the child already trusts.

    Teachers who know your child
  5. Elsewhere

Two institutions, two timetables, two sets of expectations to keep up with.

    05
    At Jupiter

    Reduced Stress

The workload is designed around both outcomes from the start, and there is only one institution to manage — which lifts the administrative and mental load off students and parents alike.

    One institution, not two
  6. Elsewhere

A rented hall, a whiteboard, and not a great deal else after six in the evening.

    06
    At Jupiter

    Better Academic Support

Students have the full run of a school — library, physics, chemistry, biology and computer labs, and experienced faculty — so preparation sits inside a complete education rather than beside it.

    Labs, library, full faculty
  7. Elsewhere

Evenings and weekends spent in a classroom, growing up somewhere in between.

    07
    At Jupiter

    Social & Emotional Development

Sport, cultural activity and the ordinary business of friendship stay in the week. Children grow up as children — the part of school a coaching centre cannot offer at all.

    Room to grow up
  8. Elsewhere

A school fee and a coaching fee, paid side by side for years on end.

    08
    At Jupiter

    Cost-Effectiveness

Academics and entrance coaching are combined, so families save the second fee they would otherwise pay to enrol a child in a school and a separate coaching institute.

    One fee, not two

Academics

One journey, Nursery to XII.

Every stage hands over to the next — same campus, same values, one continuous curriculum that ends at the boards and the entrance gates together.

01 Nursery – KG

Pre-Primary

Play-based foundations — phonics, numbers and social confidence in warm, activity-first classrooms.

02 Classes I – V

Primary

Core literacy and numeracy built strong, with art, sport and hands-on projects woven into every week.

03 Classes VI – VIII

Middle School

Concept depth begins — laboratory work, competitive problem practice and study habits that will carry to Class XII.

04 Classes IX – X

Secondary

CBSE board preparation in earnest, with early entrance-style problem solving already in the timetable.

05 Classes XI – XII

Senior Secondary

Science & Commerce streams with integrated JEE / NEET coaching — boards and entrances, one preparation.

Life at JPS

In their own words.

Parents who trusted us, and students who went on to AIIMS, IIT and beyond — in the words they wrote to the school themselves.

Mrs. Nirupama Patra, Principal of Jupiter Public School
From the Principal's desk
“We consider education to be the cornerstone of a prosperous and satisfying future. Our goal is to support each student’s holistic development rather than just imparting academic knowledge.”

Life never provides success directly but it provides possibilities and opportunities. It’s up to us to convert them into success. Under the able guidance of my teachers at Jupiter, I could build a strong foundation. Whatever I learnt in those two crucial years consolidated me for a master-stroke performance.
Sonali Das Alumna · UCMS, New Delhi
The teachers at Jupiter are just amazing. They are not only skilled at their profession but also treat each child with care. My son Abhijit Moharana completed his secondary education in JPS. His performance in class-X board exam was outstanding. He scored 93%. Now he is pursuing senior secondary education in the same school. I am confident of an excellent result in XIIth Board also.
Chandra Sekhar Moharana Parent · Khordha
Nothing worthwhile can happen without sincere effort. I used to be an obedient student of my teachers at Jupiter. I sincerely followed their advice and grasped all the subjects clearly. That facilitated my preparation for medical entrance test. I qualified the entrance test with ease and confidence. Now I am studying at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. I am thankful to the management and teachers for their cordial approach.
Neha Agarwal Alumna · AIIMS Bhubaneswar
Owing to the disciplined environment, individual care, unique method of teaching and regular examinations of Jupiter I cracked medical entrance test. From my personal experience, I feel that a solid foundation at Higher Secondary Level is a must for success in various entrance examinations. I feel proud to be a Jupiterian.
Debidutta Mohapatra Alumnus · AIIMS Raipur
My son Arnav Dutta passed his Xth Board exam with 97%. I selected JPS for his senior secondary education. I appreciate JPS, as they inculcate good values and discipline in the students, besides the excellent education. They give importance to the students’ punctuality and regular attendance. We, parents are completely tension free. Thank you JPS.
Hrishikesh Dutta Parent · Khordha
I, Prabhudatta Mangual, would like to express my sincere gratitude to Jupiter Public School for helping me in scoring 98% in 12th Board Examination. I had scored 94% in 10th Board Exam. Whenever I am asked how I could enhance my percentage in 12th class, I reply this is possible if you are in a School like JPS. I strongly feel the teachers there are just like magicians who understand the caliber of a student and transform him to a better performer.

Questions parents ask us

Which classes are open for Admissions 2027–28?

Nursery through Class XII, including fresh Class XI intake in the Science and Commerce streams.

Is Jupiter a day school or a residential school?

Both. Students may join as day scholars or board in on-campus hostels, with AC and non-AC options.

How does JEE / NEET coaching fit into the school day?

JEE and NEET coaching mentors are part of the school's own faculty, so entrance preparation runs alongside the CBSE curriculum on the same campus.

What is JSAT?

The Jupiter Scholarship Admission Test (JSAT) — held every year for Standard XI students, with scholarships on tuition awarded on the basis of performance.
